Alabama Free Clinic is a no-charge medical clinic for adults without medical insurance who reside in Baldwin County, Alabama. Founded in 1988, Alabama Free Clinic has always strived to be care for the sick, be compassionate towards others, have gratitude for their blessings, and provide a sense of community. Operating out of three clinics, this volunteer led organization provides health care services to individuals that may have fallen on hard times, do not have medical insurance, and cannot afford the rising cost of health care. Alabama Free Clinic provides services for management of high blood pressure, diabetes, elevated cholesterol, pulmonary disease and related conditions. They also assist with generic prescriptions, laboratory testing and diagnostic imaging, patient wellness and health education, dental services and wound care.
