Central Union Mission offers overnight housing and meals to unhoused men in the Washington D.C. community. They also offer support and services to help unhoused men reintegrate into the community with financial and housing security. The Men’s Ministry program provides general help like food, clothing, showers and clean beds for guests to stay the night. Men who require more assistance also have access to medical, dental and mental health services. Central Union Mission provides rehabilitation support to those recovering from chemical dependence and job programs for those who need real-world experience to enter the workforce. The Restoration & Transformation Program offers participants a spiritual foundation, as well as educational opportunities, the ability to earn a GED certificate, and access to literacy, anger management, family reconciliation and additional support services as needed.
Alabama Non-Violent Offenders Organization (ANVOO) helps individuals with a non-violent criminal record. Their mission is to assists those seeking to regain their place in society by connecting them to resources and services to reach their full potential as productive members of their families.
