Daystar Life Center

Daystar Life Center is a faith-based nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting community members in need regardless of their creed or background. The center offers a variety of services that include: client-choice food pantry, client-choice clothes closet, organic produce from their edible garden, SNAP assistance and authentication, WIC assistance and certification, utility assistance, homelessness prevention and assistance, personal hygiene pantry, local transportation assistance, traveler’s aid, prescription medication assistance, birth certificate and Florida ID assistance, secure mail services, free Income tax preparation, service advocacy and referrals, access to telephones and computers, blood pressure and diabetes screening, healthy cooking demonstrations, and pet food assistance. All individuals must first participate in a screening conducted by Daystar Life Center staff. During this screening, staff assess the needs of each client and establishes a plan for services.
