Federal Public Defender for the Western District of Washington’s Seattle Office

The Federal Public Defender for the Western District of Washington’s Seattle Office is the main federal public defender’s office for the Western District of Washington. With one federal public defender and eight panel attorneys on staff, the Seattle office represents the majority of indigent people targeted or charged with federal criminal prosecution. The office often gets appointed before a charge is filed and an arrest is made, and they continue to represent their clients through all stages of the proceedings, including trials, appeals, and post-conviction.
