Florida Prison Ministries is a faith based organization committed to providing support services to currently incarcerated individuals in the state of Florida. The Shelter from the Storm Program offers reintegration services, including: Safe, stable housing for men in the Gainesville, Florida, vicinity; bible studies; a church home; participation in a 12-step recovery program; individual and group counseling; job development and vocational training; referrals to partner organizations serving justice involved individuals. Their Love a Mother’s Baby program includes mentorship and partnership with mothers who give birth during incarceration.
