Greater Falls Community Justice Center (GFCJC) is a community-based organization that engages citizens to restore relationships, repair past harms, and build community connections through education and involvement. They serve all of northern Windham and southern Windsor counties. The Center is committed to serving the needs and priorities of these communities, providing a safe environment for resolving conflicts, and promoting restorative justice and victim sensitivity. Their restorative justice programs use direct community involvement in resolving criminal offenses through participation in reparative panels. The panel connects participants to community resources that support and address the root causes of situations. The Precharge Program was created for people who have committed an offense for the first time. Individuals participate in the process to learn about the effects of their actions on others and are allowed to take responsibility for their actions and make amends. Circles of Support and Accountability (COSAs) helps individuals reentering the community from prison to rebuild their lives and make amends after incarceration. Contact Greater Falls Community Justice Center directly for more information on their services.
