Life House Community Health Center is a federally qualified health center providing sliding scale health care services to residents in the Matanuska-Susitna Borough communities between Palmer and Eureka, which includes Sutton/Alpine, Chickaloon and Glacier View. This facility has a wellness center for exercise, locker rooms with showers, multiple exam and talking rooms, a room for minor procedures, radiology, dietician services and telepharmacy. Basic primary care, scheduled speciality care, dental, select pharmacy services, health education, vision exams, behavioral health, radiology, and behavioral health services are all available at Life House Clinic. Transportation is provided for qualified applicants who need rides to the clinic as well as outreach appointments so clients have adequate transportation to pay bills, grocery shop and run other errands. The Alabama Therapeutic Education Facility (ATEF) helps prepare participants to transition from incarceration to re-entry. It is a residential facility that provides comprehensive behavioral, vocational and educational services to prepare incarcerated people to enter the Work Release Program.
