Description

Middle Georgia Justice is a legal organization dedicated to improving equity and access in the justice system for historically marginalized individuals. Their mission is to support and supplement existing systems that offer legal aid to those in need by determining gaps in services, organizing new programs, and fostering collaboration among current legal service providers. As a nonprofit organization, most services provided by Middle Georgia Justice are free to clients. To begin service, individuals must first complete an online process to identify current needs and determine financial eligibility. Next, potential clients undergo an intake interview to further clarify needs and financial situation. All potential clients have a right to privacy guaranteed by the organization, and even those who cannot receive service through the organization are protected by attorney-client privilege. Nothing shared during the intake process can be shared with law enforcement or others. For more information about legal services, contact the organization directly.
