The Monroe County Public Defender’s Office is located in Columbia, IL. With a team of Public Defenders, attorneys and other legal staff, the Office of the Monroe County Public Defender is charged with representing the County of Monroe in criminal defense cases resulting from lawsuits filed against the indigent client in the Monroe County.
