REDEEMED is a faith-based nonprofit organization that works to provide environmental safety, food, housing and job services. They also help to create jobs and provide support services to community members to assist with sustainable living. R.E.D.E.E.M. house is a transitional shelter that provides safe housing, food and clothing to residents. They service formerly incarcerated people throughout the reentry process, including mental health services and assistance securing permanent housing. Staff also work to ensure that participants locate permanent employment to reduce the risk of reincarceration. Transitional housing is only available to single women with at least one income source. Residents may stay for 12-18 months, during which REDEEMED will work to help each individual secure permanent, self-sustained living. Individuals can contact the program directly for assistance or to begin services.
