Young Community Developers, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to breaking the cycle of generational poverty. The organization takes a holistic approach to create an environment that empowers all community members to achieve economic mobility and financial security. Programming at Young Community Developers, Inc. includes: Job Readiness Training, Transitional Age Youth, Housing, Reentry and Special Initiatives. Participants in the program have access to multiple job readiness programs and employment assistance services to assist individuals from all walks of life with entering the workforce. Transitional Age Youth programs support youth ages 14 – 24 on a path toward personal and financial security. Young Community Developers, Inc. actively collaborates with community organizations to ensure housing security and affordable housing are available to individuals who typically face barriers to stable living. Additionally, at-risk individuals ages 14 – 35 who are reentering the community may be eligible for services modeled specifically for the needs for formerly incarcerated people.
